Donating books
What books can I donate?+

All books are welcome. That includes fiction, non-fiction, children's books, educational books and books that are worn or damaged.

Do damaged books need to go in the bin?+

No. Bring them along with the rest. If a book cannot reasonably be reused, it can be directed towards responsible recycling where possible.

No. You can bring a mixed collection. Sorting happens after collection.

Can I donate textbooks and school books?+

Yes. Suitable educational books can be separated and directed back towards schools and learning settings where they are useful.

Book banks
Do I need an appointment?+

No appointment is needed for a normal book bank drop-off. Find a location and bring your books along.

Can my business host a book bank?+

Potentially, yes. We are interested in accessible shops, cafés, workplaces, community venues and other locations with suitable space.

How often are book banks collected?+

Collection frequency will vary by location and demand. Final schedules will be confirmed with host locations.
